Now after 8 and I'm still not seeing any updates on the FCPS Boundary Review webpage...

The incompetence is ridiculous.

They have community meetings scheduled starting on Monday night.

They would be well served to get their act together as they are already on thin ice in terms of complying with their policy as they aren't scheduling separate meetings in each pyramid affected by proposed changes.

Well, first they’ll have to send an email canceling the Robinson and Centreville pyramid meeting because that’s supposed to happen on Monday.

Didn’t they already have some community meetings without the new maps and they were all, the new maps will be out soon but until then, just hang tight! They really don’t care.

It appears everyone went home for the long weekend hours ago. I'm so sick of these idiots.

you know it’s probably set to automatically come out and whatever time they selected. The fact that several days ago they said “evening” just makes me think 9pm

They have a perfect "out" and have had it for months. They should just say that "in light of the unexpected opportunity to purchase a facility to help our overcrowded high schools in western Fairfax, we have decided to delay any further changes. Those schools that are currently in great need of relief will be adjusted. Details to follow."

And then the website will crash when more than one person tries to access the new maps at the same time

The first set of "Phase 2" meetings were just updates of what had been done to date.

All the meetings scheduled to begin next Monday were predicated on the revised maps coming out before then.

Remember this when they are up for reelection.

BRAC was told yesterday they would see the maps before the community did tonight. BRAC still hasn’t seen them. i was under the impression BRAC was seeing them at the 10/7 meeting

From a post on the FairFACTS Matters FB page this evening:

"BRAC members were told yesterday that we would have an opportunity to view the updated draft map before it is shared with the community later in the day (meaning today). It’s after 8PM and the map still hasn’t been shared with the BRAC…"

This is just stunning incompetence on the part of Reid and Thru Consulting. What is it going to take before they finally fire her? Everything they do sucks, and it's never on time.

I'm sorry, but as between what they told BRAC members and what they told the general public (namely, that the updated map would come out this evening), the latter should govern in the event of a conflict. Or give the BRAC members a 10-minute advance preview and let it rip.

Because this is just insanity.
