Why did Arab majority Deerborn, Michigan go for Trump?

Stop getting angry at Dems over this. You did this to yourselves. The rest of us told you in advance this would happen and accept zero blame.

Angry over ourselves for what? I voted for Stein and am very happy with my vote. I’m sure those who voted for Trump are fine with their vote as well. You are the one who is angry because there are Arab Americans who didn’t vote for Kamala. We get it. We didn’t behave like the good immigrants you expected us to behave like. Now you are mad. As for blame, you supported an administration that aided and abetted genocide for an entire year. You are complicit. You are a genocide enabler. I get that you don’t care. And I don’t care that you don’t care. Just like you are enjoying watching Palestinians getting killed, I am enjoying the temper tantrum that you are throwing because your team lost the presidency, the house and the senate. 😀

Do you not live in the United States? We all lost. 😞

As a life long Democrat I was disgusted with the unrelenting support Biden gave Israel when it was apparent they were committing war crimes. Maybe for the average dem seeing the dead kids was ok, but not for those of us who are Muslim. 100k are dead with snipers targeting children, what would be worse than that? The US covering for genocide war crimes and apartheid is par for the course.

We've read your exact same comment as many times as you've posted it. And now we've got Trump! Your protest vote worked. I'm sure Gaza will go great now.

Oh sorry I didn’t act like a good little brown person and vote Democrat like you wanted me to. It’s totally cool that they ignored the protests and Muslim American voters.

None of us gets everything that we want from a candidate. You didn’t “show” anyone. You just broadened the suffering.

+1 as if Trump will be so much better. Ok, there will be a ceasefire. But what’s coming next for Palestinians will be worse. Good luck during this 4 year hunger game we are about to endure.

Meanwhile everyone will keep supporting the apparent genocide and apartheid in Israel - so really nothing changes.

It wasn’t just the Arabs. History 101, the majority of Muslims are not Arab, and almost every American Muslim was horrified by rhe genocide. Some voted for Harris, but some for stein and many just sat out. Democrats need to stop playing the “but it will be so much worse” card after actively supporting the horrors of the past year. They lost because they couldn’t get that message across. Never mind the blatant involved of AIPAC in our politics.

AIPAC owns DC.

I voted for Harris, but I have to say it’s satisfying to watch Trump turn on the muslims and pro Gaza crowd -which is surprising to nobody except that cohort - after they voted so hideously against their own interests.

Will you be happy when Trump turns on the Jews who funded his reelection? Let’s face it that is were the blame lies.

The Jews who voted for Trump are in New York so that’s not where the blame lies.

And yes, that would be satisfying too. Anyone who thinks they can trust Trump is an idiot. I am Jewish and am appalled by Jews who voted for Trump. At least 71% of us did not. It was overwhelmingly Orthodox Jews who voted for Trump.

Why does anyone think we can stop a country from protecting themselves? Ridiculous protests especially given the horrors of October 7.

Why did the Israeli government wait SEVEN hours before they responded to the massacre on Oct 7th?

Sounds like someone who's just sick of this sh**. Count me as another one.

I am tired of living in the dark manifestation of Trump's addled, disgusting mind. The people who put us here - well, they can help themselves.

Anonymous wrote:That's the outcome that is most perplexing to me. The explanation being given by the talking heads is that they were unhappy with the Biden administrations support of Israel. But they obviously realize that a Trump administration would be just as supportive of Israel. I would assume that they would go with the candidate who belongs to a party that has a significant faction of people opposed to supporting Israel, which is non-existent in the Republican party. Can anyone help me make sense of this?

LOL idiot. Let me break it down for you. They don’t want to vote for the person perpetuating genocide against their families. If someone was involved in a genocide that killed all of your family would you vote for them?Like many Americans they believe there are only two choices. So they voted for who they believed the lesser of two evils are. Trump was the first presidential candidate to visit Dearborn and his staff met with Arab Americans in Dearborn multiple times. Kamala refused to meet with her. So did her staff. She talked down to them. Told Arabs protesting genocide that “she’s speaking.” And then the dems sent Bill Clinton to lecture Arabs about how Judaea and Samara belong to the Jews because the Bible says so.

Why are Democrats so dense?
