Let's just say he used a particular word that was regrettable.

#1 and #4 are great players, and it is a shame how they act toward officials and opponents. Someday they will wish that they had cultivated reputations as good players AND good kids.

Don’t forget about #15 for Yorktown. Against McLean he was talking trash the whole game to the goalie and defense, then after the game he took of his helmet and kept talking and the ref had the point him to his bench. Was not a good look and he should honestly have consequences.

Stop crying because y’all lost. Get over it your season is done and they will never play lacrosse again. Yorktown is one of the top teams in the state and will always be. Y’all making up stuff to throw your anger at the Yorktown kids. Get a life and don’t disrespect Yorktown.

Classy...just like your players. I hope you all get smoked tomorrow

Nice try, but the behavior by #1, 4, and 15 is not made up. The three minute penalty called at the end of the game actually happened. Can a Yorktown parent admit that those three bring on the disrespect themselves?

"again"? Didn't Madison win states last 2 years in a row? Thought they were against Battlefield each time as well, but could be wrong...

think Yorktown may have beat Madison for regional title either last year (2022) or prior year (2021). But pretty sure Madison won the states tournament last couple years...

Madison in 2019 and 2022, Yorktown in 2021 (no one in 2020).

Should be a dogfight realistically, score for Yorktown Madison could go either way… but you do have to remember Yorktown did completely embarrass Madison on their own home field. Yorktown in a nail biter though.

Can the Madison parents admit that they are some of the loudest most obnoxious in N.VA?

Let's please try to have this be the only lacrosse board on DCUM that doesn't degrade into negativity and name calling. It has been a fun season and there should be some great playoff games ahead. Enjoy it.

Agree. Madison parent here. I thought the McLean players showed grit and class on the field even in the face of a tough loss. If it makes the anyone feel better - most of the parents were embarrassed by the few Madison dads who were a little over the top. Looking forward to a great matchup this Friday.

Are you sure they were dads? I saw a few younger folks maybe not being polite in chants, but otherwise it seemed more spirited cheering for their own players.

Robinson 8 Woodson 3. What???

The third showdown should be awesome.

Not a great showing by Robinson. They beat Woodson 18-1 last time they played.
