Yorktown barely beat Mclean or have you forgotten that they only won by a single goal?

Robo will be back next year. This is the year for LB.

Madison can make things interesting but they won't beat Bruins twice this year.

Good team with some top notch pieces, but so much better than everyone else seems excessive given their losses to Robo, Madison, and Yorktown dismantling them in the preseason. They may very well win it all. At this time of year, coaching matters. We'll see if the LB coaches have what it takes to get to the end. Robo, Madison, and Yorktown have all been there and are well respected. Battlefield will only have to win one tough game in the state final. The other 4 will have to battle it out with 3 tough games.

You could be right. Yorktown fell behind early against McLean and Langley, and if they do that against Madison, it will be harder to dig out of the hole.

Let's just say he used a particular word that was regrettable.

#1 and #4 are great players, and it is a shame how they act toward officials and opponents. Someday they will wish that they had cultivated reputations as good players AND good kids.

Yes. On any given day they can beat every team in VA. In fact, they basically already have.

It is also fairly insulting to the head coach of Mclean to infer that the team wasn't well coached. They far exceeded all expectations people had for them at the start of the season.

Barely...that is my point. Madison destroyed them so Yorktown better be ready on Friday...because McLean is a lot more like Yorktown than they are Madison

Didn’t Yorktown hold Madison to one goal earlier this year? I would think head to head matters more than common opponents, no?

McLean is a lot more like Yorktown in what sense… yorktown has not lost to a public school all season and I didn’t see mclean beat Madison 8-1 @Madison.

Yorktown has showed up for every big game they have played this year.

Don’t forget about #15 for Yorktown. Against McLean he was talking trash the whole game to the goalie and defense, then after the game he took of his helmet and kept talking and the ref had the point him to his bench. Was not a good look and he should honestly have consequences.

Not recently. Yorktown is washed and peaked mid season. Madison is peaking at the right time. Yorktown better sort themselves out if they don’t want to be embarrassed by madison in the regional championship and then again in state semis.

Stop crying because y’all lost. Get over it your season is done and they will never play lacrosse again. Yorktown is one of the top teams in the state and will always be. Y’all making up stuff to throw your anger at the Yorktown kids. Get a life and don’t disrespect Yorktown.
