2027 team has plenty of time to gel and already seem like they are ahead of the game.

How are they “ahead of the game”?

New poster - are you trying to be dense? They are ahead of the game because they are a higher quality team than the 2025 team at this age. Every 9th grade Capital team struggles. They just started playing together, have rotations that make no sense and are playing against teams that have been together outside of a few additions for many years. Give it a year and then judge. Then give it another year and compare college commitments.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up totally accurate. Of course Cap blue ‘25 had several roster issues to fix which it did the following year. Cap blue ‘27 not likely to have same issues. Once these girls figure each other out and gel they will be great. The individual talent is clearly there. Just need time.

PP here. This is exactly why I said they are ahead of the game. They seem to be gelling well based on results form the same opponent (Hero's Green) in the comparison. I used the 2025s because of how strong recruiting has proven to be and the 2027s could be even stronger in 2 years. But this is all speculation.

You are comparing a 2025 team (how random) to a team that has not played an actual game together, yet they are "ahead of the game"? I'm the one being dense?

You are randomly making observations about a team because some other grad year in same club played another grad year with same club and didn't fare as well in a scrimmage? Do you even read what you write?

It's called an educated comparison based on historical data. Did you read what was written? It also says it is all speculation. Historically, Capital Blue teams and Hero's Green teams are top in the country and this is an educated guess based on proven history. Believe it or not, people can speculate.

First, I am who used the term dense and I am not the one who compared to 2025. You come across as someone who is playing dumb as to not give credit to how good these girls are.

We know much of this forum will revolve around top clubs for most of the year and that's fine. For now, anyone not from a top club want to tell us how your daughter's experience has been this year? There seemed to be some turnover all around. How's your coach? How does the team look so far?

MC, Stars, Pride, Rebels, NL, anyone else?

No need to reply if you're just speculating or if your daughter isn't on one of these teams. And if you're insulted that one of the clubs listed isn't considered a top club in my view, that's OK, too. Be proud of your squad. Mainly just trying to move on from Capital/Hero's/SW talk for a minute.

Not give credit? Capital BLue will likely to top-10 nationally ranked team.
Im questioning if they will be as good as BLC was. (7th, 7th, 4th in last three years of US Lacrosse rankings)

Three starters are now on Hero's Green, Skywalkers and MD United.
Its legitimate to ask are the non-BLC girls going to make up for that.

Again "They are ahead of the game", this is implying they are better off now than previous Capital Teams were in first month. I asked for clarification. Not sure how one can say that.

If this is trolling, grow thicker skin, its legitimate questions.
