Does anyone believe Chinese have a right to birthright citizenship?

Anonymous
It is an law that is long overdue for changes

There is no right in he constitution

Chinese tourists are not ...

"subject to the jurisdiction thereof"

Century ago, it didn’t matter very much that a simple practice began that has now grown into a massive issue of birthright citizenship or the anchor baby agenda,” said King. “When automatic citizenship started being granted to all babies born in the United States, our lawmakers missed the clause in the 14th Amendment that says, ‘And subject to the jurisdiction thereof.’ So once the practice began, it grew out of proportion and today between 340,000 and 750,000 babies are born in America each year that get automatic citizenship even though both parents are illegal. I know of no other country in the world that does this, and it must end.

Where are the democrats?? On the side of rich Chinese tourists?

The bill is cosponsored by Reps. Brian Babin (R-Texas), Lou Barletta (R-Pa.), Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.), Blake Farenthold (R-Texas), Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Walter Jones (R-N.C.), Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.), Lamar Smith (R-Texas), and Rob Woodall (R-Ga.).

They still don't get it. They think Hillary lost because of racism. It is because democrats are not on the side of US citizens

Um of course Chinese tourists are subject to US jurisdiction. Otherwise they could just come here and commit all sorts of crimes and fraud and go home.

BEIJING — When Ma Fahong approached the immigration desk at Los Angeles International Airport, the customs agent had only two questions for her.

“Why are you coming to the U.S.?”

“I’m here to have a baby.”

“How much cash do you have on you?”

“I only have $1,000 in cash, but I have a debit card with much more in the bank.”

Passport stamped. Welcome to Los Angeles.

Do you have an actual response to my point?

Is this really a topic of utmost importance, when PEOTUS wants everyone to know that Arnold Schwarzenegger's ratings for The Apprentice were so so low, so much lowers than Trump's. Indeed, Trump, aka the "ratings machine," destroyed him by comparison. And this is especially important because Schwarzenegger was a supporter of Clinton and Kasisch.

Focus, people! PEOTUS wants us to think about the important things!

If you are worried about hundreds of thousands of babies born each year to the illegal parents, then a few hundred rich Chinese tourists should be the least of your concerns. People who can afford to travel to the U.S. solely to give birth aren't going to burden the system.

Umm. Plenty of other countries have birthright citizenship, including our neighbors to the north and south, Canada and Mexico. Lots of countries in South America also.

If born on American soil. Yes. Americans.

The mouthbreathing co-sponsors have a collective IQ of about 450. God knows how they function in the modern world. I'm not going to get overly excited about some foreign nationals giving birth to infants with dual citizenship so they have options when the Chinese government cranks up the oppression. This is the land of freedom and opportunity that is already great despite its flaws.

Btw, they are not illegally entering the country. They are here on a valid visa and they are here to spend lots of $$.
I am not clear why I should care.

This thread is clear indication of how liberal elites that post here are out of touch with the rest of the country

No one can argue with people that don't care about the negative impacts to low skilled labor

this is why democrats lost the presidency. He house and the senate and why democrats are lead by pelosi from San Fran and shumer from new york

Nope and all those vacation babies are so annoying.

We need to end this and reverse citizenship of current anchor babies.
