6th Season of Homeland

What did everyone think?

So far so boring is what I thought.

I am far more invested in Peter Quinn than any other storyline.

OP here. I was disappointed too. Really disappointed, actually.

I kind of felt like- maybe I wasn't in the mood for it, because I wasn't expecting it to be available already, so I wasn't all geared up and excited- I just logged onto Showtime and was like, "Oh, homeland's available, okay" so I worried that maybe that affected my enjoyment of the show.

But everyone seems to be fairly blasé about that episode. To me I found it a real letdown after last season which every episode was pulse pounding and amazing

I hope it picks up

Just watch it, thought it was okay. But last season bored me at first but then it became one of my favorite seasons. Homeland's first couple episodes of the season are usually boring because they set things up. It usually gets better as the season progresses.

I don't know why I can't just quit this show. The past couple seasons, I ponder whether I am just going to break up with it, then I watch anyway.

I find that Homeland always starts slow. Ever single season. It's a slow burn. I make myself watch at first and then can't get enough by the end of the season. It's a show that's preferable to binge watch versus waiting on the episodes to come out in my opinion.

I was really bored and turned it off. Just over Carrie and her issues. Couldn't watch her again. It all felt too familiar. No new spark. At least not after 10 minutes.

I like Carrie and her issues, but the storyline with Quinn was weird. I don't know. It didn't draw me in at all

I agree with you all, was pretty slow, but I am still addicted and will keep watching - it usually does pick up (I hope!).
