What an absolutely horrific finale. And the worst season in memory.
I will no longer watch Homeland. I sat through that snooze of a weird season, only to have Quinn unceremoniously killed in the finale? What an absolute joke. |
Agreed. And the carrot they had been dangling in front of us for so long, the chemistry between Quinn and Carrie and his love for her... it was just thrown out. Quinn gave up his life for her (and put himself in death-facing situations for her many times) and they never so much as kissed. As if to add insult to injury, when she's going through his stuff and finds her picture and realizes how much he loved her... it's like a slap in the face to the viewers and to the memory of this great character. I don't know what the producers were thinking but I'm out. |
| Me too, I can't anymore |

The producers have said that they changed the storyline mid season after Election Day. You can totally tell that the pacing of the episodes shifts in the last third. But, has anyone read what the original ending was going to be?
Apparently they were going to kill off Quinn at the end of last season but brought him back for one last one. He was never going to make it. |
They kissed once. It was in the finale to season 4 (the Pakistan season). It was quite the juicy kiss! This season was sooooo boring and unbelievable and the "twist" at the end was dull too. Surprised it was picked up for 2 more seasons, frankly. |
It would have been better if he had died at the end of last season. The letter he wrote Carrie was beautiful and bittersweet and it would have been better for his character to go out on that high note, imo. |
