Mine. I had an affair with my best friends husband. Dh found out but she never did... or I think she suspected but turned a blind eye. It's over now, dh and I are good. It was pure hell and yes I feel / felt guilty. And I will never see them again.

That's on my bucket list but haven't gotten around to it yet. Ideally she'll have my baby, too.

There were other issues in the friendship. It kind of just died. Plus I knew I had to stay away from them /him for everyone's sake. And there's always the chance that she found out or he told her. I don't know.

x2. for context, I'm the DH who had an affair. It is something that I regret to this day, nearly 15 years later. My wife didn't deserve what I did and had every right to leave. I promised her I would never do it again and that I would make it up to her. I continue to try to do that. I am forever grateful that she didn't leave me.

Staying with me, giving me a chance to make up for what I did took far more strength than listening to the harpies who told her she should just leave.

Friend's husband had affair with her best friend while wife was pregnant. Wife stayed with husband, ended the friendship for a while, but now they are back to being best friends again. It blew my mind to the point where I could now longer be friends with any of them.

DW got stage 4 cervical cancer from an STD that DH passed along from his mistress. They worked it out and she beat the cancer, but I'm not sure the order of events.

Former Indiana governor Mitch Daniels. Wife Cheri had an affair, moved to California to be with guy, walking out on 4 kids aged 8-14. They reconciled and remarried after a few years.

I also know someone with this same story. He nursed her through the chemo and radiation, and the two of them have spent the rest of their lives together, determined to work through their life sentences. They're miserable. I feel for them both.
