The title says it all.
I typically check the news, weather, DCUM, Facebook and email. When I played a game this morning I realized I was procrastinating. Wasted 30 mins (easily). |
| 0. I plug my phone in downstairs. I've had issues with insomnia so I try to lessen the amount of distractions in my bedroom. |
| Yup, 30 minutes. |
| 10-15. Terrible habit. |
Very wise move. I need to do this. |
| Usually 15 min or so. I'm doing it right now. It's a way to slowly ease into the day for me - I've never been good at jumping right out of bed. |

None, turn the alarm off, and that is it. Messages or anything else isn't going anywhere, and I rarely use my phone for web surfing to begin with.
I would rather take a shower before doing anything else. |
| Never. I leave my phone downstairs when I sleep. Why are you all sleeping with phones in your rooms? |
| Maybe 5 minutes. Just a quick glance at FB and maybe the news. |
| I do it at night. Not in the morning. |
Why wouldn't I? I use it as an alarm, for starters. To answer the OP's question, I rarely stay in bed playing on my phone in the morning. After a shower on the weekend is another story. |
| I spend too much time which is why I'm thinking of deleting the facebook app and perhaps taking a break from facebook altogether. |
Trying to limit to 10 minutes or so but could easily waste 30 or more
|
| 5 minutes or less. I'd rather sleep! |
| 30 minutes at least. Nice to see I'm not the only one doing this! I also use my phone as an alarm so it's the first thing I see, but when I plug it in across the room I do tend to spend less time playing around on it and get my day started faster. |
