I don’t get this kind of criticism. I really don’t care if anyone likes Taylor Swift or not but the whole she’s going to be fine, people are going to move on is weird. The Beatles aren’t exactly pumping out new albums, either, but they are icons and people still listen to them and our kids are discovering them and I’m betting the next generation will too.

Eventually all pop stars slow down. Of course she won’t be constantly pumping out music like she has for the last 20 years, but she has an insane amount of songs people know, and love. She has a few more albums in her in the coming years. As grows older it’s going to be interesting to see her collab with younger stars. She will probably reinvent herself a few times and I’m betting some of us will be going to see Taylor in her 60s just like Madonna.

Yes, I am "doubling down" about being tired of hearing about her. Because she abused one of my favorite pasttimes-the NFL- and made it all about Taylor's cosplay as NFL spouse.

How come Josh Allen's wife, who is an Oscar nominated actress and a pop singer, can go to a game without doing a parade walk with dozens of photographers and slobbering all over the other football wives when the camera points her way? The answer is because it is possible for a famous person to attend a sporting event and not make it about themselves! Crazy, I know. But it is not possible for Taylor because for her the only purpose is to make sure everyone knows she is there, and maybe they want to buy that record about that one bad date that left a permanent emotional hole at age 22? I mean, the pain is real.

You are unhinged. I am a huge NFL fan and attend lots of games. How did her appearance abuse the NFL? IMO, the NFL, and the Kelce family to an extent, abused her. She’s famous and she’s earned it, although I’ve never listened to her music. She made the Kelce family “famous”. I am still tired of their publicity.

Because she made it all about herself. As I said above plenty of famous people go to sporting events without making an ass of themselves. But for Taylor the main thing is for everyone to see her and while she does her patented fish mouth "surprise" face. Then she plays victim. Seriously, you need to take a step back. No one is attacking you for anything. People are simply pointing out that your “facts“ about Taylor are in fact not true. You’ve heard sound bites over the years about why people don’t like her and you’ve chosen to believe them.

You seem to be attacking an artist because they sing about love and it’s in the pop style of music. Love is timeless. Anyone can identify with songs about Love at any age. Please name artists that don’t sing about Love. Additionally if you don’t see a progression from Taylor singing about Love and her original album eg “our song” all the way to “the alchemy” on her latest album, I’m not sure what to tell you.

Even her announcement about the masters is her trying to look like a young girl. It's very creepy and sad. Happy women her age are married with children while she's still trying to look like a teenager. Reminds me of that 40 yo Wapo journalist, Taylor Lorenz, who is also deeply uncomfortable with her age and tries to dress and act like a hipster zoomer.

I love Hailee, but she’s significantly less famous than Taylor. Of course she can go under the radar. Much harder for Taylor.

Taylor Swift has been very clear about the fact that she never knows when or if she's being shown on the Jumbotron and certainly doesn't seek it out. She's there to support her boyfriend. The fact that she's a megastar isn't her fault. And if she didn't go to the games, people like the PP would be outraged that she was "too good" to show up for her boyfriend. The woman can't win.

How come Josh Allen's wife, who is an Oscar nominated actress and a pop singer, can go to a game without doing a parade walk with dozens of photographers and slobbering all over the other football wives when the camera points her way? The answer is because it is possible for a famous person to attend a sporting event and not make it about themselves! Crazy, I know. But it is not possible for Taylor because for her the only purpose is to make sure everyone knows she is there, and maybe they want to buy that record about that one bad date that left a permanent emotional hole at age 22? I mean, the pain is real.

You are unhinged. I am a huge NFL fan and attend lots of games. How did her appearance abuse the NFL? IMO, the NFL, and the Kelce family to an extent, abused her. She’s famous and she’s earned it, although I’ve never listened to her music. She made the Kelce family “famous”. I am still tired of their publicity.

His wife is an Oscar nominated actress who has been in several Marvel films. Her name is Hailee Steinfeld and she is very famous. A lot of people in Hollywood care about her and pay her millions for her performances.

Hailee Steinfeld is great. I especially loved her in True Grit. She’s not as famous or sought after as Taylor Swift though. It’s just not the same. HS can probably do a lot of things without attracting attention that would get TS swarmed.

I don’t get this kind of criticism. I really don’t care if anyone likes Taylor Swift or not but the whole she’s going to be fine, people are going to move on is weird. The Beatles aren’t exactly pumping out new albums, either, but they are icons and people still listen to them and our kids are discovering them and I’m betting the next generation will too.

Eventually all pop stars slow down. Of course she won’t be constantly pumping out music like she has for the last 20 years, but she has an insane amount of songs people know, and love. She has a few more albums in her in the coming years. As grows older it’s going to be interesting to see her collab with younger stars. She will probably reinvent herself a few times and I’m betting some of us will be going to see Taylor in her 60s just like Madonna.

Will she stay on top forever? No, nobody does. I don’t understand why that is a dig. It’s just a fact of life and I don’t see people saying that about other artists but for some reason people love to bring it up about Swift.

I guess my question is whether she can do anything but the relationship bops. For many singers, that's their main material and it dries up with age. For example Fleetwood Mac made great record when they were all screwing each other and breaking each other's hearts. They were still singing those songs in their forties and fifties. There is probably not an audience for new material at that point.

So the question is whether the current library ages well enough for her to sing it when ahe's 45. For Katy Perry the answer is apparently leaning toward "no." Maybe when Taylor is 45 her fans will still want to hear about her being in the bleachers in high school. If they all enjoy her emotionally arrested mentality they probably will.
