She does indeed have a headshot on that page.

I know people were talking about how old she looks earlier, and I actually disagreed with them until now - up until now I thought she looked like she was in her late 30s, but in this picture she looks like a youthful 50 year old (she actually looks a lot like my sister, but my sister highlights her hair to get rid of the grays).

Yes, I’m not sure why she looks so old - most of my south Asian friends look so young - but she does.

It's the color.

As a south Asian, I find it very trying to choose just the right color when I'm using neutrals. It has to work with your undertones. If you hit it, you look smashing. Just the tiniest bit off and it's awful. This is not the color for her.

I hate that turd colored dress and don’t think it’s the right shade for her. She looks pretty in the vibrant blue gown and even that ill-fitting pink coat.

Looking like crap isn’t refreshing.

I'm not South Asian but I have the kind of grays that you cannot cover with dye. I have had a colorist blend them with the rest of my hair using highlights/lowlights and that does make them much less noticeable, but it's also time consuming and totally changes how my hair looks.

So I've decided to just let it go gray. It was a bit hard to accept at first but I'm adjusting. My DD (who can be a harsh critic) claims they are coming in my silver than gray and thinks my hair looks healthier since growing out the highlights, even with the streaks of gray. I choose to believe her.

Anyway, I support her in letting her hair go gray. She's a political wife, not an actress or fashion model. There's no good reason she should have to dye them other than the biddies on here needing her to look younger I guess.

Her hair most definitely does. We all have grays and we could all let it look like this. Most of us don’t.

As a 50-something Indian who is in the process of addressing skin discoloration issues, I’ll say they are much more complicated to address than the comments about tretoinin or lasers suggest. I’ve had various discoloration issues since I was teen, and it’s been my experience that most of cosmetic dermatology is aimed at white skin not the various shades of brown skin.

How does having more even skin tone relate to her duties as Second Lady?

It’s the bun on her hair. I think it’s aging especially in photos.

It’s the uneven skin tone, the wrinkles and lines and the gray hair. She looks 50.

I agree 100%. I know more and more professional women that are going gray. She is well-groomed and that is all that should be required in her position.

So what? She's better looking than her husband.

Cares about what?

Money and power, hence going from "Jan 6 was bad and anyone there was trashy" to adoringly gazing at her husband while he was sworn in to go release the people there over the span of two years.

You must be too young to remember Nancy Reagan. She was the OG of adoring glances to her Ronny.
