So, unless AP has multiple Instagram accounts, I saw that BB’s mother follows her, which means she would have been seeing the pictures of them as a couple… Unless you can block certain people from seeing?

You just bad luck. We have only had positive experiences with our au pairs.

We also had a terrible experience. We used one of the more expensive agencies that specializes in au pairs that are slightly older with some work experience. But she had criiplojng anxiety and could barely leave the house. From talking to lots of friends and neighbors with au pairs, it seems like about 25% are super great, 50% are okay/fine/some issues, and 25% are just terrible or have significant issues.

I would never hire someone from a foreign country to live in my home and care for my child. Au pair companies don't vet these girls. The girls come here for "cultural exchange" and I know of two divorces due to the husband f*ing the au pair in my small North Arlington neighborhood over the past 10 years.

Yes, you can make some of your stories "close friends" and they are only displayed to your list of close friends.

She knew him since she was a teen? Her family is LE, she was a victim advocate. All things you think would protect you from being murdered in your bed just short of your 13 year anniversary.

I cannot even fathom what this must be like for them. They slow rolled the investigation to wait for the maximum pressure point of her visa expiring and for forensics to be back, has to be torture. If we can parse the carefully chosen words of LE, odd from Day 1, imagine it from their perspective as fellow LE. To have him not cooperate with the investigation but still be in contact because of the little girl...
