Haha yes.
But that’s why I don’t post any travel except to my narrow circle of friends - don’t want to be attacked by any crazies!

Perhaps you should consider why people might be critical of your travel instead of personal image damage control ?

I think they’re wrong & the reason people are anti vaxx. We are vaccinated so stop the judgment.

I’m vaccinated. Experiencing a break through case. Picked it up locally. I wear a mask whenever not home . Vaccination isn’t enough right now. Wise the f up

sounds like a real incentive for people to get vaccinated ...

If they had gotten vaccinated, we wouldn’t be dealing with this dynamic. Brain trust.

I'm vaccinated.

So am I. Delta is here.

And you've been asking us to stay home for 1.5 years now and keep moving the goal posts. No wonder no one is listening anymore.

The folks that are traveling will take no more responsibility for any aspect of spread, exactly like their counterparts the unvaccinated. There may have been a sliver of time early summer when traveling was ok, but it’s clearly not now.

I wouldn't make the original post here which I felt you were supporting but of course there are so many anonymous people here - who knows who is who. I would say get vaccinated, wear masks, social distance, and try to do outdoor travel activities and enjoy.

Seriously, maybe bc we’re being told delta variant is so contagious, it doesn’t matter if you’re vaccinated etc. it feels like we’re all bound to get it so I just accept it. It seems like you’re at no greater risk of getting on vacation vs kids getting it at school vs grocery stores etc

Hope you’re vaccinated.

Of course, I am vaccinated. Moderna. U.S Open requires only vaccinated enter main courts. Asking for proof too.

If they are - will you stop then?

She won't. She will accuse me of being a vector ...

Yes, that’s what it means for the virus to become endemic. Exposures and infections are boosters to the immune. Sometimes you will get sick. As with other colds, the immunocompromised are more likely to have a severe outcome.

We will all get infected. Delta is said to be nearly as infectious as the chicken pox. One teacher in Marin county infected 12 masked students in class with the windows open. Many students infected their vaccinated parents.

Look at Oregon. Covid continues to surge and the mask mandates are not slowing the spread. Everyone will eventually become infected.

Selfish to assume others should comply with your wishes.

I think this OP just likes to troll to get a rise out of people.

This isn't a cold and it will take all of us to stop the spread, which will never happen. E

Most people who booked end of summer travel booked it back when Covid numbers looked great. No one knew the antivaxers were going to screw us all. I don’t judge the travelers. I’m thankfully I traveled in June, but that was just luck.

+1, and also we traveled this past week because that's when the younger kids' preschool was closed. I have limited vacation time. I'm not going to take a week of in June and then need to take another week in August because the school is closed. We take vacation the week the school is closed, and that was last week. And we booked it back in May, the day after getting our first covid shots.

But absolutely risk picking something up and potentially needing to quarantine two weeks upon returning. Mkay.

Wow. Just read the unprotected travel bit too. Very clever, troll!
