He got sentenced to 30 years. He's spent the last four years in the DC local jail - ooof.

Gawd, he’s gorgeous….. Why is doing this when women are probably throwing themselves at him already? That pic makes me swoon…. Ugh. So frustrating. Why do attractive men do this stuff? They don’t need to. |
Anyone who lives the majority of their adult life abroad and hopping from country to country has a screw loose. Some very normal seeming people live that lifestyle and I’ve always assumed they are incredibly messed up in the head and up to something. |
| Are the meager restitution amounts to be paid by the rapist all that the victims can expect? He committed these crimes when he was serving as a CIA agent. His employer should have known what was going on long before it was found out by a foreign government, so why aren't the victims being given meaningful restitution complements of the taxpayers of the United States? |
| And what happens when Another victim comes forward, one of these previously unknown women in the videos and photographs? Can the sue the CIA and this d-bag's estate? |
I worked at an embassy in the early 00s. The Marine security guards were the nicest, sweetest young guys. Lonely and overeager and honestly, not bright for the most part, but not creeps, predators, or abusers. |
Gorgeous? I don't find him attractive at all. Kind of smarmy with beady eyes and a puffy face. Yuck. |
+1 The Marines were often just kids of 18-22. Seemed sweet to me, and often out of the country for the first time and missing their families. This guy who got convicted was older and a true rotten apple. |
That's your opinion, not a fact. Some of us enjoy getting housing, private school for our kids and the safety from US gun violence that living abroad provides. Not to mention the fun of experiencing another culture. Are there crazies in some embassies? Sure, but no more than the share of crazies we have living in the DMV (most people get background checked and intensive health screenings before they are approved to live overseas). |
Wait, WTF are you talking about? You're saying our State Dept. and other government employees who serve the U.S. in other countries are "messed up in the head"?? I think we've found the person with a screw loose... good grief. DP |
I was thinking the same thing. Could have gone to grad school with him. He looks like every guy our age in this area. |
Not to mention the rampant alcoholism. |
|
| That's definitely a CIA guy (I don't have knowledge but the profile screams it to me) |
| How long until he is unalived? |
