BRYC families to get a 3% discount at TSJ! |
Would be a big positive for both sides if true. FCV needs to move closer if they're going to have a sponsor and indoor training and BRYC needs something to shake them up and get some momentum. Anything that would have combines TSJ sponsorship and location with BRYC and some combo of SYC/LMVSC/VIVA/BAC/SCAA would be a welcomed collapsing at all levels of the programs. |
What would any of those clubs listed bring to the table? SYC already partnered with McLean anyways. |
BW is slowly building NVUA and will eventually take his staff and as many players as he can there. He already has his BRYC ECNL teams playing playing on his NVUA Super Y teams. Eventually he will do the same with Winter teams then next travel teams. He has a partnership with a Scottish team to make the club look more legitimate. |
Sure it is. |
| What is NVUA? |
Northern Virginia united academy google it. |
Exactly what would be the universal good of "collapsing" community based soccer clubs into the fold of a for profit gym? |

| When is this alleged merger supposed to be announced to BRYC and FCV families? The ECNL teams are all full at BRYC next year. They even have a full U15 composite team for B team. If FCV comes in what is supposed to happen to all of the players?? |
Relax, you're just being trolled. |
No, I've heard about it too. They will announce it over the summer. Teams will remain in tact through the Fall but will phase into a an Academy system. GA will be the B team and ECNL will be the A team. |
This and there will be C (EDP) and D (NCSL) teams pending on the player pool size. Teams will practice at Robinson to get out of the Evergreen lease. |
| ^^^What is your source? Does FCV expect to be the A team? They just plan on casting aside the BRYC players??? |
You clearly don't understand what "Academy Style" is. Players will be a pool and rostered week to week based on performance in practice. Practice well or play well and you'll be rostered on ECNL. |
