| Bryc talk has been quiet lately. Did the coaches address posting on the forum to parents? Or did the boys 2007 mom finally take her son to another club? |
|
trash talk. you are so invested. will leave you hanging there.
|
| curious what the hell is going on over there. Girls used to be a decent side of the club. What happened? I won't even start to touch the issues on the boys side. |
| Shhhhh. FCV and BRYC are talking. |
shhhhhhhure they are |
| FCV buying BRYC to get back in ECNL - old news |
How do you buy a non-profit? |
| Makes you think TSJ bought the wrong club. |
How do you buy a non-profit organization? TSJ bought the only club they could. |
| The leadership is uninspiring and it is trickling down to the players. One of their girls teams qualified for the ECNL showcase event in FL and isn’t even going. Will be interesting to see if they can stay in the league beyond next year… |
You buy them and put proceeds back into the organization....after a cut off the top. Same as any acquisition. Some call them "mergers" instead. |
| Yes a merger. FCV stays in girls academy while the talented girls play for St James BRYC…flip flop |
|
I assume 99% of these posts are troll posts.
But on TSJFCV buying BRYC academy, why couldn't it happen? Academy isn't a nonprofit IIRC. But unless FCV has some boys to bring into the mix, it doesn't make any sense. Also, which technical staff on the girls side would have to give way--FCV's or BRYC's? |
ECNL doesn't want FCV back in the league. They can wait out GA and let the FCV girls just come to ECNL over time. Then they will deal with BRYC if they even need to. |
TSJ will not merge because BRYC is non-profit and there would be no money it for TSJ. And such a merger with a "flip flop" of players would devalue the product, FCV/GA" that they do actually own and can make money off of. Imagine trying to make money solely off the B team in your organization. |
