Is your MCSL pool doing B meets this year?

Since they did not swim A last year, you should be good.

CS pricing is normal near-in MoCo pools.

You pay for one.

For CS summer members they would already have taken payment and unlikely to give a refund based on swim teams no competing in MCSL.

Decision on not to swim in MCSL was only communicated in mid-May. Pool membership had been paid by then. So, yes, would have to pay another pool membership to join another team. That’s not going to happen

Are there any other pools that withdrew from MCSL this year? Is CS the only one?

I believe there’s a handful of teams that decided not to participate, as well as some that will only do virtual meets. I don’t know which ones, but the updated division assignments after those changes are on the MCSL website.

I'm pretty sure that was the only team or one of the only teams. Classmates, friends, other swim friends at the other 10 pools near us have told DD they are doing meets.

There are a few other MCSL teams that opted out of meets this year. If you count up the teams from the original division assignment list vs the one updated in the last week or so you’ll see how many. It wasn’t a lot but definitely more than just CS.

No, we did it a week or so ago. Took a few days to get approval. No big deal. We switched to a smaller pool and team for safety.

Did your pool refund its fees? I think quite a few families would do this if they could get a refund

For safety? Seriously?
