I don't see shorts or sandals, but I see people who take off their coat in the car and run into a store. NBD.

Maybe they are from a cold climate, OP.

Looks less silly than the people I see bundled like they are in the arctic - giant white coat, giant boots, hat, scarf - when snow isn't even predicted for a few more hours. Hilarious.

I used to freeze and bundle up pre menopause. Post menopause and I can't wear most of my warm clothes anymore or I will.get soaked with sweat on a walk around the block.

Peoples own heat or cold tolerance can change over time.

I was at the grocery store Sunday night and saw an adult woman in a short flowy skirt made of jersey fabric with sandals. No tights. Just pale legs that looked like cold chicken skin. Gross. Her friend was wearing pants and full shoes with socks. I think she had a fleece jacket on. It just looks seriously bizarre. Was she trying to look sexy for a man? Did you shred her last pair of tights? Does she only own one pair of shoes and can't afford to cover her feet completely so they don't get wet on a cold night???

That is insanity to me.

My parents from Hawaii dress like this for 68 degree weather. At 52 degrees, they’d probably bust out the thermal underwear too!
