Let's speculate.... Who's going to be in Biden's cabinet

Sherrod Brown for Commerce

Gretchen Whitmer and Detroit mayor Mike Duggan have to get something. Duggan was one of his earliest supporters and stuck with him even when it looked like he was going to lose the primary. Duggan controls that Detroit and Wayne County Machine that delivered him the state.

Then we even experiencing before and frustrating to people here we walked the results frustr ating to us but again they're saying they've got to do this right they've got to go through these the painstaking way they've been here all day today we don't know what that means as far as you know how late they're going to stay where there's going to be other night hours but they promise us but that will that will be the case

Castro is a low-watt hack.

I thought rumor was Warren to become Secretary of the Treasury?

Whitmer should stay where she is and then run for Stabenow’s seat in four years. She’s 70.

WE CANNOT LOSE ANY SENATORS.

I'm giddy at the thought of a wholesome political discussion!

Amy K please! They had a very intense moment at endorsement
Pete - there's a strategic position for him
Stacey A should get any position she desires
Yang - but not press secretary
Tom Steyer - Climate
KL Bottoms - I just like her. Grace under fire
Cuomo ?
Sanjay Gupta obviously
Cory Booker

This is just a willy nilly list.

Agree on these two but if I were Biden I'd include a couple of moderate republicans with a history of bipartisanship. With a divided house we need an executive branch that can set the tone. Also, the election clearly was a pushback on progressives not only in house seats but on so many state wide ballot issues.

Agreed.

Honestly, I would love for her to be Secretary of State again. She was a great one. I’m a 10-year State Department employee.

Sigh, no. First of all, no retreads. This cannot be Obama 2.0. Second, she's barely confirmable. And third, what a way to give Republicans massive cannon fodder for the next 4 years. Here's a woman that lost the Presidency, but we're going to foist her on you whether you like it or not America!

I don't subscribe to the idea that Biden doesn't have a mandate (I mean, Trump didn't and look at what he did) but deliberately pissing people off for no reason is a bad way to start off your Administration.

Whitmer doesn't want to be in Michigan. She wants out ASAP. Her posture over the last 12 months made that very obvious.

^^Ditto Susan Rice.

I'd bet on Detroit's Mike Duggan getting HUD or HHS. Biden owes him big time. Duggan, a lawyer, has health care experience as former CEO of Detroit Medical Center.

I think Mayor Pete and Stacy Abrams should take over the DNC. God knows it needs strategy and direction. One thing the GOP does (before Trump anyway) is long-term strategy and relative discipline among its members on that front, to include the down ballot races and pushing liberal policy agendas at the local and state level.

Can someone help explain how there would be a change of leader ship from Schumer to Klobuchar?
