Sidwell is by far the most overrated school in this area. I'd rather but GDS or Landon instead of Sidwell.

That's interesting Landon or GDS. I couldn't think of two more opposite schools. Sidwell seems to be somewhere in the middle of those two. Sidwell has the best academic reputation in DC but doesn't have the same emphasis on athletics that Landon does

I actually agree with 14:36. We never applied to Sidwell for our DC, but we attended QA sessions and toured. After all the tours, we preferred Holton and NCS.
