Another ivy folded

How old? I went there in the late 70s/ early 80s, and it was always Penn. I truly don't care what it's called, but it's definitely been Penn for a long time.

Most Penn kids live off campus, right? So all those kids have leases signed and most will just report to Philly anyways... right?

The old timers call it Pennsylvania.

That's true. I guess by the 70s, it was too many syllables.

All I can say is no one ever confuses it with Penn State because Penn State is always called Penn State.

Enough about the name. VERY few people care. Really, you would be surprised.

Why are you paying $80k a year for DL, you bloody fools?
It is not $80k is there is no R&B.

It is 80k for schools where you can live in the residence hall but all your classes are online. Ask me how I know?
It sucks but not sure what to do as kid wants to go back and I don’t blame her. Not easy to be stuck at home with your family since March with nothing to do and nowhere to go. I love my family and we get along pretty well but I want to escape too

Well you let your kid go back. She had a choice. Just don’t pretend like that choice didn’t exist and then complain about the cost. I have no problem saying no to my kids, ever.

And don't complain about what her on campus experience is like. A lot of the schools aren't allowing the kids to visit other dorms and there is little chance for social interaction unless it is off campus.

Very tough year for kids. I feel for them. It will shape them for life.

Columbia just sent out their letter. Same as Penn - stay at home, don’t come. Fully online.

Not an ivy, but commenting because we are expecting NYU to change being in the city as well.
