This is interesting:
So Berman, the guy being removed, is actually a Trump supporter (donated to the campaign, was personally interviewed and vetted by Trump). This isn't partisanship as usual. Meanwhile Trump supporters will find someway to blame the Democrats for this.
|
| I’m so tired of gop corruption. So tired. |
| Thank you to all on this thread who have provided explanations and links. This is when I most value DCUM, especially for those of us with no legal background. |
|
Any litigation on this will make it moot, which I think, is Berman's goal. the only remedy is for Trump to appoint someone and let that person get through the Senate. Even that could take til September, and more likely, McConnell would pocket it for fear of further eroding the Senate. |
Still no one has explained what supposedly nefarious ties to DB Clayton has. |
Nor has anyone explained why Barr would lie about this guy leaving his position. |
| I don’t need specifics on his relationship with DB. If there is a relationship, that is enough to disqualify and move on to a different candidate. |
|
Such corruption. When will it be too much? What is the limit? For me.. Heldinski when DT openly favored B Putin’s word over our own FBI, CIA, NSA. .. He committed treason, openly.
|
Barr is corrupt. Needs to go to prison |
Well, that one has some easy explanations. Possibly, he thought Berman would agree. Relatedly, he may have thought the pressure of a public announcement would cause Berman to back down. |
