I thnk if a facility is on the cancelledlist, like Wilson, then it's cancelled at that location. I'm just hoping that the fact that we have not received an email notification is because they are scrambling to find other locations for our kids. I wonder though why some from Wilson have already been switched. I wonder how they prioritized the list.

This is all so interesting. We had our test location (in another state) first canceled, then reinstated, then moved from the middle school to the high school in the same town. We got both email and paper confirmation of the changes, including a revised admission ticket in the mail. I think it signifies that ACT folks are working their butts off calling test centers and trying to accommodate as many students as they can. But they are clearly not communicating equally well with everyone. I hope it sorts itself out for everyone.

To the PP asking about how to get in touch: Like you, I tried to call but phone lines weren't working. Surprisingly, my email to them got a quick reply, like in less than 24 hours. And the info was helpful. So I suggest the ACT-cares email (sorry, I don't have the email address available but I'm sure I got it from their website).

My DC was supposed to take the test in our FCPS school. Then it was moved to Wilson. Now the online ticket says no test center, but we keep checking. Ugh. I'm thinking we will just try to register for the September test once registration opens for that.

I’m about to give up on June. Son registered at Wilson. No re-assignment. He signed up for July yesterday. Not many seats open anywhere so he’ll be in Waldorf, we live in DC.

Thanks! I emailed the act-cares Friday and nothing. I guess I should just register for July like pp, since we're in the same boat...registered at Wilson, but no reassignment.

I got through and was told that my DD who was registered at another location would not be rescheduled. Her location in MD was a late add to the cancellation list.

I had heard that some kids were getting cancellation notices at one school, but others were also being told that it was still on. So right, reduced capacity the ones being told no were 2022s. But the ACT website says Wilson is cancelled entirely, despite the fact that a few kids we know also got the same email last week saying things were on. I assume ACT will send either a cancellation email, a confirmatory it's on email, or a relocation email soon.

DC is at Hagerstown and that’s been canceled but I haven’t received a notification yet.

We recieved an email on May 29 confirming the test was on.

Since then, the location changed to cancelled on the website.

We cant reach them by phone. And emails have gone unanswered.

Any suggestions? The center is 1.5 hours away so going just in case is costly.

Did you check the ticket? That is how DC found out the location had been moved (for the 3rd time). No email notification. Moved from Wilson to Baltimore.
