Ooh I wonder if you're my neighbor.

For me, Lexapro and wine.

Video games (no wonder all the gaming stocks are doing well in the down turn market), YouTube and food delivery.

Routine, limited screen time, sitting down to all meals together at the table, card games - sleeping queens, uno, and our enormous back yard. Thank god.

Also for me and YMMV - getting ready every day and my peloton omg I love that thing more every day 3 years in. Thank the lord. And wine. And cooking good meals.

There was no need for this level of back patting in an otherwise nice normal post. Why on earth do you need so much validation? Everyone I know has enjoyed being with their kids. I don’t work, but the bitching I’ve seen all over social media is from me fellow sahm who clearly are overwhelmed - and they have every right, this is tough.

I am a WOHM but I don’t mind it. There was a fair deal of backpatting in the 6k sq ft home posts. This PP likely lives in a small home where there is not much to do, but is glad she can at least give her full attention.

Echoing a very consistent daily schedule. Breakfast, zoom school, dog walk, distance learning homework, lunch, distance learning project for whatever special is that day, break, 2 mile walk, then home to start prepping dinner. In the in-between time, since it’s scarce, my son runs off to play, which is great for me. Neither of us enjoy distance learning, but it does help with the daily schedule. Our days fly by and I really feel for those with preschool, toddlers and babies right now.

LOL this person isn't working full-time while watching kids (and is hopefully a troll or else she is super insecure about her choice to stay home if she twisting words so that she claims someone asking for ides to entertain her kids is somehow DREADING spending time with her kids). The reason people are looking for things to do to entertain their kids is that they have to actually contribute to the household by working and bringing in a salary instead of depending on their spouse to provide shelter, food, etc.

Water play outside on our patio on nice days. Disney + and Daniel Tiger on Amazon. New art supplies.

Trampoline, hot tub & home gym. I thought all ID these were unnecessary at the time.

Other than that, it's pretty much a TON of online games and avengers movies. Oh how I wish the libraries were open!

Is your husband is doing this too? Lucky family, my husband will do it once a month (play a game) but Ill take it.

+1 Although balancing WFH with homeschooling assistance is challenging, a consistent schedule helps. +board games and Disney + (new acquisition so keeping them pretty busy!)
