We live in a small apartment. Same!

To answer OP. Liberal screen time, lots of walks, puzzles, crafts. We try to do some kind of pre-k Pre reading stuff each day. Also kid gets melatonin every night.

We live in an apartment but the complex is small and my kids are the only kids in the building. So we’ve taken over the grassy patch behind the driveway and often play in the driveway too. (Neighbors are very careful and don’t come and go often anyway.) Stick ponies are an amazing saving grace. The girls (7 and 3) run races, brush their manes, “feed them” etc. I had no idea how grateful I’d be for our stick horses.

Consistency with our routine, outdoor time when weather permits, no screen time, lessons and play based on children’s interests, cooking together, calling family daily, reading all the books, and the list goes on.

Tv iPad teacher google meet online
Zoom classes
Sand box in the backyard
Backyard
Pool. Still close but will open soon

Yes I do feel so fortunately to live in a single family home with pool night now.

Having a huge backyard with a swing set and trampoline. The kids are older and both were hardly used pre covid . Yesterday they played outside on both for over 6 hours. They are on the trampoline for hours at a time weather permitting.

I agree with this! Keeping bedtimes, changing into clothes during the day and pajamas at night, and keeping regular mealtimes have helped. We don’t do no screens, but we do keep up with a eat, work, play, rest routine that worked when they were babies, and still seems to work as elementary schoolers .

+1. I’m so grateful for our educated and experienced nanny. She thinks up activities and educational stuff that would never have occurred to DH or me. And she gets the kids outside - rain or shine - for hours every day in spite of the fact that we have no yard or outdoor space.

Other than that, very good wine, the best pizzas from near and far, movies every night, wagyu beef on the grill, lots of outdoors time with the kids and dogs.

Honestly given technology and shipping we have access to like the best versions of everything that humans are ever come up with. That makes staying home not all that bad.

Back to your bubble, now.

I'd like to go into that PP's bubble. I bake, will that get me in?

Anyone else had luck with these? I wonder if my 4yos would go for it or they’d be another thing taking up limited space.

Ha! TMI

Honestly I bet there will be a large birth rate drop in 2021. Dh and I were getting ready to TTC our 3rd. Oh no hell no. These months have been the most stressful in my entire life.
