First time parents and husband is horrible

I would also read the book about different expressions of love. I realized that my husband was oddly showing his love for me and the baby by obsessing over the backyard to make it perfect. It drove me crazy, why was he outside all the time??? But, it was his expression, even if it totally missed the mark.
