| The most interesting thing about this posts and responses is that it all seems like somewhat of a crap shoot. All good schools posted and the results of acceptance, WL or reject are all over the map. No pattern really. A few accepts to everywhere but that seems to be exception and not the norm. |
of course it's a crap shoot. you have a bunch of kids who are basically the same being picked based on very few data points. with a few outlying exceptions (both high and low) it's a crapshoot. luck of the draw. not "draw names from an what" luck but "do they want a volleyball player? a scrabble player? a tuba player?. who knows. it's all random |
