This is an extremely talented kid, must be a star in school and in some competition (sports and/or academic) circle. Can anyone keep the admission outcome of such a star from being known by the school classmates, teammates?

I totally get it.

And to the whack jobs out there- I didn’t see anything insulting in how this person feels. Fact- Beauvoir and GDS are equally awesome but TOTALLY different. We applied to both as well, hoping for one over the other.

Grace is wonderful. My kids both went there and are now doing really well in middle school (academically), but what I appreciate even more is that they were steeped in kindness all through elementary.
