It is clear our president is not acting in the interests of the United States. What is left to stand up to what is coming?

It is abundantly clear to me from circumstantial evidence that, in addition to disinformation, that Russia actually changed votes in 2016, and they will do so again this year. Again, this is in addition to their well known (to reality based people) disinformation campaign. Who is left? They have appointed judges, various agency heads... and it’s so clear that the Democrats follow rules and rule of law even though the GOP is committing treason.

The GOP is all up in the White House Russian taint

And I was ready to riot weeks ago, but honestly, because American Capitalism is SO AWESOME, I have to work or my kids won’t be eating

What terrifies me is that the Republicans are complicit in the dismantling of the checks and balances in government because they are afraid of a loony old coot who wants to give the people healthcare? Not a Bernie fan at all, but this Administration’s moves are a completely different level of danger than normal everyday political BS. All politicians at national levels have made bad and ideologically impure choices along the way. Deal with it. Not allowing a hostile foreign leader to dictate the terms of our election and installing an idiocracy should be a bare minimum of statesmanship.

No, they are complicit because they know they have no path to retain power in a world of increasing preference towards moderate democrat policies. The tax cut was to consolidate the oligarch class and make upper middle class people happy with their 401k's while they dismantle the western alliance and our domestic institutions. They are about 85% of the way there. When are people going to get mad? We get the government we fight for. If we don't fight, then be prepared for Ivanka 20204 with Russian help too.

Explain how Republicans are doing this. What, specifically are they doing to dismantle checks and balances. And, how is it related to a fear of Bernie?
Be specific.

if you can't see the dismantling of checks and balances in our system, then I've got nothing for you.

And while I'm not Bernie fan, it is so dumb of these idiots to vote for trump because, as Warren Beatty as Senator Bulworth said "SOCIALISM!"

NP. Preventing the IC from briefing anti-loyalist information to congress is a good start.

Refusing to allow any witnesses in an impeachment trial and saying outright that they won’t be impartial, despite that being their Constitutional mandate.

LOL!
You people are crazy!

Isn't it interesting that this "news," without any details whatsoever, leaks the day after a disastrous Democratic debate and when Trump's approval ratings are at their highest levels?

You tried the Russian collusion sham already. The American people are not falling for it again.

It leaked because McGuire was removed for no reason. It was actually Nunes who front-faced it because the GOP was upset about the briefing. Note, no one on the right is actually upset that the Russians are trying to influence another election. Why are YOU defending the Russians?

Pretty much. And worse.

You all are so FOS.

President Trump didn't fire him in response to the briefing, He is literally REQUIRED BY LAW to step down.

From The New York Times:

"....under current law limiting the duration of postings for acting cabinet-level officials, Mr. Maguire must step down next month."

And, you do know that Ric Grenell has been pretty tough on Russia in his role as ambassador?

It was expected that Trump would nominate Maguire to be the official DNI, and that he would be confirmed by Congress. But he decided, right after the intelligence briefing, to replace Maguire with Grenell. It's technically not firing him. But that's what he did.

So Trump didn’t do as Congress expected. OK. Then?

By trying to prevent the flow of intelligence to Congress, Trump is abetting a Russian covert operation to keep him in office for Moscow’s interests, not America’s. Why are you supporting Russia's interests and not the interests of the United States?

Well, then he should disclaim it, and tell McConnell to pass the legislation to combat it and fund cyber security measures in our elections to ensure he is legitimately voted into office. But firing 4 people because they briefed the House Intel Committee about Russia's measures doesn't exactly reflect the actions of someone who wants to ensure the legitimacy of this reign.

Schiff is on the committee. Enough said.
