Flynn swore under oath that he lied. Now he's trying to say that was a lie.

There's no way to spin that, no evidence that is exculpatory.

You state that as if it is fact. I think you will be proven wrong.

Flynn wasn't framed. He just lied to the FBI, worked for Turkey while he was supposed to be working for the US, and thinks he knows better than everyone else. He's a loon and a conspiracy theorist and a convicted-but-not-yet-sentenced criminal.

After the recent shenanigans, he may end up with a real trial and lots of charges. Bring it, outside prosecutor.

The FBI "interviewed" him when he did not know he was being investigated. FBI agents said he did not lie--until they said he did. No lawyer. No notice.

compare this with HRC who was accompanied by more than one lawyer --and the lawyers themselves were fact witnesses who were given some immunities. Highly unusual. Ironic that Strozk was involved with both cases.

This is not the way it is supposed to work.

He was still given notice that lying to the FBI is a felony and yet, he did it anyhow.

Why ar you making false excuses for him?

Hillary testified publicly for 11 hours without complaint, and subjected herself to 30 years of scrutiny. At this point, she is either the most brilliant mastermind in history for 'getting away" with everything, or else, there really weren't any actual crimes she committed.

No. There was classified information on her personal home server connected to the internet. 18 USC 793

She did it and people were paid off to make those prima facie FACTS disappear. No normal person would get that deal.

Everyone knows that she didn't commit a crime. Everyone but you, I guess.

DP here.
Whatever you need to tell yourself......
She got away with a lot. Probably because she was running for president.
Justice really isn't blind.

And you irrational hatred of Hillary made you vote for a Little Man who basic incompetence directly caused the death of thousands and thousands of Americans. I will die knowing that I cast my vote differently.

And, it gets more interesting....

Flynn's lawyers say that Mueller prosecutor Brandon Van Grack had a side deal with Flynn not to prosecute Flynn Jr.

I am not sure how that helps. It merely illustrates that Junior should have been prosecuted too.

Or, that they were threatening Flynn Sr. with going after his son, bankrupting him like they did to him, and intimidating him unless he entered a plea.
This is the MO of some of these sleazy prosecutors. And, it is what many have claimed all along.

I can't wait to see what happens here. If there was prosecutorial misconduct, they better be held to account.

So then he can be charged for perjury when he signed the document and verbally affirmed before the court that he lied.

If the prosecutor required it to be kept secret to avoid Giglio, that is a problem.

This happens All.The.Time. Usually with spouses of defendants in a variety of fraud and insider trading type cases.

For the attorney to disclose it at this point is idiotic.

Powell includes two exhibits that show the Department of Justice verbally agreed not to prosecute Flynn Jr if Flynn, Sr plead guilty. Those don't show malfeasance. They show that Senior knew Junior was also exposed on FARA (which he clearly was).

Please show where this is out of the ordinary or misconduct on the part of prosecutors.

How is this sleazy misconduct? This is exactly how witnesses are flipped, every day of the year. It just so happens that you like this guy so now it's suddenly "sleazy". If it was a drug cartel you would high five them for doing it.

Read up on the prosecution of Ted Stevens.
Curiously, Weissmann served on the Enron Task Force.
Judge Sullivan was the judge in the Stevens case.

Wonder if people on here have ANY idea what it is like to lose your house in order to pay expensive lawyers to defend you in a bogus, political prosecution? And, to threaten to prosecute your child, too?
