Honestly the worst part of travel is the team travel requirements. The hotels are ridiculous in general, but the worst part is doing it through the required team booking. I can always boost he same hotels for 15% cheaper. It's a racket. If it weren't for that, I'd save a ton every trip. Let me get my child there however I choose, house my child however I choose, and I could cut my expenses by 40%.

It’s not the end of the world. Especially for girls. There is no real future in soccer anyhow for 99.99% of the girls that play. Even the ECNL/Da crowd. They might get a partial scholarship and then kill themselves in college trying to practice, play games, go to class, do homework, and have some semblance of a social life. Your kid is probably better off NOT playing elite level club soccer. Let em just have fun and focus on academics and friends instead.

Surely you can find something that fits your situation without decreeing that all the other solutions are crap. My interpretation: You just want to be unhappy.
