When does the new children’s museum open?

They just posted on IG that they are opening TOMORROW. A 1-day notice? Bizarre.

I just saw that post on Facebook! Completely bizarre - why the one day notice?

I’ll be shocked if this place lasts more than 2-3 years.

For better for worse we are members. Headed there March 8.

What, that's crazy, someone go and then we want a full report!

We bought memberships early. My mother took my DD today and they had a blast. Mother said that it's still not fully set up. I don't have details what is still awaiting completion. My DD went down the slide tons.

+1. Seems completely disorganized.

I would like to know how this place is compared to Port Discovery in Baltimore.

According to the website, the main level isn’t done and you can’t even enter through the main entrance, you have to show up and be redirected to an underground entrance because the front one isn’t complete.

I went there and it’s quite disorganized. There is a climbing tunnel area that starts in one floor and ends in another one and the stairs for parents to access the end point are blocked off, so it means if your young child starts in there they will end up on another floor you can’t access!

Also, there was a long wait to get in despite having reserved tickets because they couldn’t get their computer waiver system to work. My impression is they rushed to open without having been fully prepared. I would hold off on by imf until they work out all the kinks and fully finish the play areas.
