CCRM NoVA sky high expectations

They must be overworked and underpaid like many nurses. We switched to Dominion and they have a lot of long term staff which says a lot about their practice. I especially love Natalie!

Really? I had two NCIVF cycles there and only after they both failed did they mention I should follow up with my assigned nurse. Um, they never assigned me a nurse. Would have been nice to know.

I think nurse assignments are pretty much luck of the draw at most places. CCRM is considered generally good but some of the nurses there can make or break your experience.

I called CCRM multiple times in connection with wanting to try a donor egg cycle - the donor egg nurse never called me back. I just went with SGF.

A little off-topic, but did anyone else suddenly get a massive bill from CCRM a couple of months ago?

I cycled with them in late 2018 and early 2019, closed everything out financially with them and then a year later they sent me a $3000 bill in April 2020. It was as if they got financially hit by the COVID shutdown and then decided to go make the money back by collecting from old clients.

All of the charges are so old, I have no idea if they're even valid. Just frustrated to be dealing with this.

I contacted them 5 days ago in reference to setting up a consultation. Never heard back.

They did that to me but pre-Covid so it might just be that their billing is exceptionally delayed?

Nurses are hit or miss anywhere. I had both good and bad experiences at CCRM with nurses... but getting pregnant forgives all sins so I probably blocked some of the frustration out.

A nurse would be a level I haven't achieved yet. Still waiting for someone to get back to me about a consultation there...
