What runs through your mind when you see a very attractive women with an unattractive man?

He may be average looking, but I bet he is kind, doesn't play games, knows a good thing when he sees it, and has the confidence to go after what he wants.

This. My DH is asked how he "got me" as well.
In his case, he is a nice man who is willing to deal with my crazy dysfunctional family; we started out as friends and then slowly started dating over the next couple years. Most wonderful guy I have ever met, and I seemed to only attract jerks and old guys who cheated on me, before I met him.

People said this all the time ten years ago when DH and I first got married. Fast forward and he has aged really well and makes a shit ton of money. I still look good but have 3 kids under 3 so definitely no youthful glow. People don’t see a disparity anymore.

this. Seen many men over the years who can pull even though they aren't great looking. Conversely, guys who can't get women even though they are objectively reasonably attractive.
