| Don't get why people think old and skinny are attractive or healthy. One illness and those depleted old bags of bones are going to be in the box. |
This. I've seen Nancy Pelosi in the Members dining room on the Hill a number of times, and she only has hot water with lemon (I heard her order it). This is during lunch and her guests are eating full meals. My SIL is rich and skinny. She had an eating disorder in college (was hospitalized). Only gained 17lbs when pregnant. She runs every day (miles), drinks tons of water, and only nibbles 3x a day. Breakfast used to be black coffee, but now it's just hot water with lemon. It's not normal. She's a size 2. No butt. |
What? No. Don’t try to normalize your pathology by claiming “everyone is doing it”. You’re ill, and should seek treatment. |
At least their corpses will be pretty. /s |
My elderly neighbor was plump. Not fat, just plump. She got cancer and now is near skeletal. I can't imagine if she hadnt had that extra weight. |
That doesn't make you skinny! You need some good uppers for that like adderall or phentermine. Then the Valium at night to let you go to sleep. |
Really?
|
huh? Sure they do. Maybe not at a gym on an elliptical but they play tennis, ride horses, swim in the ocean, go for long walks, etc. etc. |
No those women are a different group. They are mid aged wives of Wall Street guys. Social strivers. They didn't marry inherited wealth. |
Ok but to be fair to her, I wouldn't want to eat in public with everyone trying to covertly watch me either. I don't think this really indicates anything about her diet, one way or the other. Did Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama generally chow down in public? Doubtful. Incidentally, this is why you'll never really see Kate Middleton eating in public either. These kind of extremely high profile women know that all eyes are on them all.the.time. It must get exhausting. |
| I don't know any old wealthy women but you couldn't work out how this happens without crowdsourcing it OP? |
Yes this is a thing I have read or heard or read and heard, that often times the difference in mortality rates with for some diseases is extra weight. I stay fat just to be on the safe side.
|
Oh honey! Of course you wrote about the royals today! |
The interest in being a foodie is a relatively new thing. UMC boomer women did not aspire to be foodies. |
Not always. My grandma has been skinny her whole life and is 101 years old and has survived a bunch of health problems. I’m starting to think she’s immortal. |
