How do old wealthy women stay so skinny?

A can of tuna and some crackers for lunch and a tiny chicken breast and some broccoli for dinner. She suppressed her appetite so much. She's a little obsessed with it and enjoys being hungry. She also works out 4-6 times a week. My poor Fil is on the same diet. They never have leftovers or red meat or bowls of pasta. Unless it's our house and then they demolish 3 servings of everything including ice cream .

Rich older women don’t exercise. Don’t be ridiculous.

Lots of prune juice. I even saw a recipe for it in the local Junior League cookbook, so you know it’s true.

I work in the non-profit sector and regularly engage with older wealthy women. They definitely don't eat. I often take them out to lunch, just so I can make them uncomfortable. They order soup, take a couple bites, and they're done.

My grandmother weighed herself at least once a day and ate Boeing diet food most of the time. Like boiled eggs and steamed veggies.

Old people forget to eat, OP. Plus, some of them lived through the depression so to say food is a BFD is an understatement - every serving is "enough to feed an army!!"

*boring

She never cooked anything tasty or unusual or flavorful at home. Just ate small yogurts or cold things and boiled things.

MIL does not cook and is picky. As in makes 50 substitution s picky. Keeps nothing in the house to eat, why she has a fridge is beyond me.

My mil only kept yogurt cups and fresh fruit in her refrigerator. If she wanted steak she had to get dress and go bye one or make reservations. No snacking whatsoever. Her final words, not kidding here, "I was never fat." My SIL was going to put that on her tombstone, she was that obsessed with thin.

I eat all of that...well not real Wagyu but always rare steaks. Still a plump peasant girl. Hopefully soon I will get that worm!

That is effed up. Some women actually think like that.

If you married into wealth you have a bargain to uphold. Stay skinny. If you brought the wealth you can pork up a bit

This.

And they only drink hard alcohol with seltzer or straight in the rocks.

Op, can you really see any of these women sitting down to a huge bowl of pasta?

almost all of it is genetics. They had skinny, hipless "boy" bodies when they were young (I've always envied these) and now they're skinny as older women.
I have several friends like this (now in their 40s). They're just naturally thin. Now they're not eating vast quantities of food but they a good deal throughout the day
(more than I do).
My mother and MIL eat like birds and neither is thin as a older person.
