14 year old still wants to be tucked in at night

My 11 year old still likes to be tucked in and I plan to enjoy it as long as it works for him.

(my parents were really hands off and not affectionate at all, so I think this is great)

I tuck my 15 year old (soon to be 16) DS in every night and if I don’t because I’m already in bed, he asks me to. He loves to talk to me before he falls asleep (we always laugh about something) and always wants me to snuggle.

My 13-year old and 11-year old boys still want to be tucked in at night. Kiss on the forehead or cheek. My 11-year old kisses my cheek back.

We tuck our teen in. Spend a few minutes of silly chat, or about books or things coming up. And a kiss and hug before leaving. It’s a positive connection at the end of the day and I am glad it still happens.

I regularly asked my Dad to lay in my bed with me to help me fall asleep at least until I was 15. He does not now need to come to my house and lay in my bed with me and my husband and I manage to fall asleep just fine.
