Can anyone tell me about VDA

So does U12 girls (PWSI) practice with ECNL VDA? To try to get them in form for future tryouts??
Anonymous
Certain players play up and train up with VDA but I do not think the 07 PWSI team has practiced with VDA 06.

Will you please start with the ECNL website then reach out to the Club/Team that you are interested in. You will find many of your questions answered there.

Dude.....get over yourself............people are allowed to ask questions. If you don;t want to answer, don't. If you feel the need to provide a non-helpful answer, don;t. Basically crawl under your rock and stay there. Every time someone asks a question in multiple threads that has been your answer. This is a place people come for information......basically just sit back and let people give real answers. Wow..........

They were told where to find the answers and the likely answers to follow up questions.

Yes, this forum is for asking questions but the entirety of the site, not just the soccer forum is intended to provide insight to things that are not easily googleable.

"Reach out to the club" and "easily googleable" are not the same thing.

And the coach might tell you what you want to hear. That doesn't mean you shouldn't contact him, but just bear that in mind.

Youthsoccerrankings.us does a decent job of trying to account for every tournament, but they'll still miss a few here and there.

The following questions are not easily answered via ECNL's website or directly asking the coach of the specific age group and team they are interested in?

How does Ecnl work? Do they travel far every weekend? Where does VDA Practice at? PWSI G 08 dont seem to be winning to many games from what I hear.

So all ECNL teams have to participate in the same tournament? One cannot and go to a seperste tournament ex. Jefferson cup?

Repeating:

"Reach out to the club" and "easily googleable" are not the same thing.

Repeated because of this response: The following questions are not easily answered via ECNL's website or directly asking the coach of the specific age group and team they are interested in?

There's nothing inherently wrong with asking on a message board whose prime function is to share information. You might get a more honest answer than you would from the coach, and you might see evidence that backs up what the poster is saying. You might not. But you'll get some input, and you don't need to cold-call a coach who might not have time for you. Or you may be at work with no opportunity to pick up a phone at the moment, and you figured you'd get a quicker answer here.

This is like going to the relationship forum here and typing "just see a therapist" in every thread.

ECNL website lists the ECNL showcases. The ECNL rules discuss the player and club requirements.

ECNL is easily googleable.

Depends on age group. ECNL is HS friendly so spring season is not about . ECNL games each weekend will be from VA to NC to SC. Some weekends will be local where your team will play SC team 1 on Sat and SC team 2 on Sun to maximize efficiency. When you games are not local they will do the same Sat & Sun.

VDA usually practices at Howison (Woodbridge), Long Park (Haymarket).

So all ECNL teams have to participate in the same tournament? One cannot and go to a seperste tournament ex. Jefferson cup?

For facilitating coaching staff I would assume that they would be at same showcases & tournaments.

VDA ECNL play in most of the ECNL national events plus the normal top end tournaments like NCFC, Jeff Cup, etc. They also host a good showcase and the teams all play in that too. Training is at Howison Park inWoodbridge and Long Park in Haymarket. Coaches come from both pipeline clubs. Director was hired from college.

Interesting timing right after Jefferson Cup. How many Loudon 07s will attend?

Why would Loudoun 07's look into VDA? They won the top bracket at Jeff Cup against the best competition in the country.

What do you know, hitting VDA's website one would find a FAQ detailing many of the answers asked.

Cool.

Which is not the ECNL website.

Out of curiosity, which search terms did you use?

Ummm, try typing "VDA soccer". And yes, hitting the clubs website is a very simple part of due diligence before posting simple questions here. Going to the specific league and the specific club website would have answered the questions.

The info is also available at ECNL's website:
http://www.eliteclubsnationalleague.com/national-events-18-19/

If you type "ECNL into your google machine a link to their website should appear,

If this is the response from VDA affiliated people like parents or staff, i don't understand the contempt... due diligence?

"Hey, what time is the game on Saturday?"
"F off ya hoser!"

I don’t think these nasty responses are coming from VDA people. The responses with actual answers likely coming from vda people. Nasty stuff likely northern clubs trying to muck up the thread. Maybe spirit? Kidding.
