Then don’t have your daughter tryout. Lots of programs in the area. VDA just might not be good enough for her. |
| Noone said anything about VDA the comment was towards VSA and PWSI. |
| Spirit VA would crush them anyways... |

| What tournaments do ECNL teams play in? |
Hmmmm, lets think about this. What tournaments do ECNL teams play in? Where could one find that answer?.............. AHHHHHH, how about the ECNL WEBSITE!!!!!!! www.ecnl.com Beyond that contact the team's coach regarding non-ECNL events. |
Every club/age group is different. The beet way to see is to go to the gotsoccer or youthsoccerrankings page and ecnl page of the team you’re interested in to see what they’ve done in the past. Most teams do some ECNL only showcases plus local tournaments such as Jeff Cup |
| So all ECNL teams have to participate in the same tournament? One cannot and go to a seperste tournament ex. Jefferson cup? |
Also known as checking the ECNL website and the team specifically. |
Will you please start with the ECNL website then reach out to the Club/Team that you are interested in. You will find many of your questions answered there. |
| Has anyone heard when VDA will release its coaching slate? |
Dude.....get over yourself............people are allowed to ask questions. If you don;t want to answer, don't. If you feel the need to provide a non-helpful answer, don;t. Basically crawl under your rock and stay there. Every time someone asks a question in multiple threads that has been your answer. This is a place people come for information......basically just sit back and let people give real answers. Wow.......... |
They were told where to find the answers and the likely answers to follow up questions. Yes, this forum is for asking questions but the entirety of the site, not just the soccer forum is intended to provide insight to things that are not easily googleable. |
Not affiliated with PWSI, but I'd disagree based on the 2 times I've seen them. I thought they seemed to * generally * play with skill. Some fast girls but not the big pound and punt type of team that you typically see in girls soccer. |
Affiliated with PWSI and have multiple kids at multiple age groups. The club takes a lot of pride in making the kids play the right way. Teams are rarely the biggest and strongest but usually pass the ball at a high speed and are good dribblers. This is preached by staff from Acadrmy up into to DA and ECNL. It seems to work long term although we don’t have as many 10 year old Jefferson Cup trophies as other clubs. |
