| How are they at ECNL level? Are they competitive? VDA would be closest club for ECNL (DD) but would like some input about the club. Thanks! |

Looks like they're very good for the younger players, but get consistently worse as the players get older:
http://www.eliteclubsnationalleague.com/mid-atlantic-standings-2018-19/ You should definitely go with the Washington Spirit--they're the best club in the area. Except for FC Virginia, of course. (KIDDING) |
| VDA started 2 years ago. They aren’t good at older age groups because those better players are elsewhere after leaving PWSI and vsa before vda. 04s are good. 05/06 are best teams in those age groups in the area. |
| VDA can probably tell you about VDA. Email their director. |
| Give the age group you are interested in |
| How are their girls 2008? |
| There is no VDA 08. The question would be how are PWSI and VSA 08? |
| Why is that the question? Do those clubs combine to form VDA at the older age? Sorry - new to this. Just have younger players. |
| I hope other 08 from other clubs tryout because PWSI and VSA dont seem to have a strong talent pool. Yes DD is 08. |
|
VDA is PWSI and VSA combining for BDA and a ECNL competition. 05 and 06 are the first teams where they’ve been able to keep everyone prior to the teams forming. They do also a lot of talented players from other places around Northern VA and areas south like Fredericksburg and Richmond.
We are not PWSI or VSA have enjoyed VDA so far. The staff is very direct but cares about the kids and the infrastructure is in place with fields and communication. I have heard the staff thinks the 08 team will be better than 05 and 06. |
|
Yes. VDA is a combo of pwsi and vsa kids. Those clubs are the pipelines and form the majority of the team. HOWEVER, lots of outside kids as well.
|
| 08 PWSI and 08 VSA currently sitting #2 and #3 in league standings. PWSI is undefeated. No 08 talent? Really? |
| How does Ecnl work? Do they travel far every weekend? Where does VDA Practice at? PWSI G 08 dont seem to be winning to many games from what I hear. |
The schedules are online. You cannot possibly be this lazy. |
| The funniest partnership was CYA leaving and they added on VYS. How a vienna kid is going to get down into woodbridge is beyond me. |
