Plenty of kids from Fairfax and loudon playing vda. Isn’t this the part when bryc and McLean people come in and say all the good 05/06s are going to leave?

Don't you people work? Like any of you...Driving from Fairfax to woodbridge 4Xs a week for youth soccer? Where's the fun in that? 66 28 234....reflects the top 3 worse roads in NOVA!

On the boys' side, people drive up to Howison and James Long Park from Charlottesville and Richmond 4x a week for training. Fairfax to Howison is nothing.

Does this mean they mostly select players from these two clubs for VDA teams ? Is it worth going to tryouts if you’re not playing at either one currently?

Yes it is worth it. The teams I know of have a mixture of girls from numerous clubs in the area not just PWSI or VSA.

Agreed. True for them and most DAs. Lots of posts on this board imply that DA teams are the first teams at DA-affiliates clubs. Technically true but misleading if you think they draw from the same player pool and geography as pre-DA first teams. Many DA U12 teams have well over half their players coming from non affiliated clubs the year before.

PWSI and VSA 08 teams mostly are stocked full of early developers who look a year older than they are, same as what you would expect from Loudon, Arlington, and the like. If your DD looks a year older than she is, go for it. Otherwise forget it.

Im sorry I have seen PWSI and VSA 08 Girls play im not impressed.
