I can believe that. Trump love is both open and common in Olney. But conservatives are by no means the only type you see there. |
| It isn't clear what OP means by conservative. Does that mean simply knowing your neighbors vote the same way you do? Does it mean not wanting to see yard signs for liberal candidates and causes? Does it mean not wanting your kids to play with kids who have gay parents? Is this religious, social or political conservatism? |
| OP, you're probably better off living wherever you want but sending the kids to a Catholic school. You'll probably find your crowd that way before you find a "conservative" neighborhood. |
yep |
I call your story BS. Never happened. |
| OP, don't move to MoCo. Move to KY or AL, as someone suggested. With that much money you can buy a palace there. |
I followed a link from DCUM but I can't find it again. |
Then why is my elected Representative a socialist? |
| Look for neighborhoods around Catholic Churches/catholic schools |

New Hampshire and Maine are conservative states as well. There are some conservatives who feel uncomfortable around Southerners. For example, there are conservative Catholics of Irish and Italian heritage or conservative Orthodox Jews who would feel very out of place in a WASPy stronghold like Alabama, but would feel perfectly at home in neighborhoods in New York and Boston. |
Has anyone who just automatically assumes “brown people” aren’t conservatives had a talk with any working class Muslims or Hispanic Catholics around here about their thoughts on LGBTQ rights or late term abortions? I’m guessing you haven’t.
