I was thinking this as well. If the OP means socially conservative then many of the international communities have people who are very conservative. They don't tend to broadcast their beliefs the way that the US religious right does but they have the same opinions regarding LGBT, abortion etc.

Fiscal conservatives are prevalent in Potomac, Bethesda, and up county.

Moderate democrats/liberal republicans are common in Rockville/North Potomac and up county.

Crazy progressives are in the east. There is a pocket of religious conservative catholics in Kensington but they lean left on other issues.

Trump populists are rare in MoCo but plentiful in areas like the eastern shore and rural areas as you drive toward WV. [/quote]
