So do ECNL teams typically schedule ID sessions for the upcoming U13 season early, or do they just accept that DA teams go early and get a first mover advantage in forming their rosters? |
I think all the ECNL and DA clubs have sessions for rising U13 and older already advertised. No club defers to another for "first pick" at any age. You may have to reach out to the club for specific dates/times, but they're all getting going now. |
| Has anyone been “invited” to attend the upcoming 2019-20 BRYC ECNL ID sessions? I believe they are supposed to start next weekend? |
| Where do you see BRYC ID session dates? |
|
It was a Twitter post:
http://www.brycsoccer.com Just says sessions start Feb 1 and gives an email to contact. We haven’t heard back. |
In general BRYC invites players who have contacted the ECNL Director to come out to a practice to work out with the age group that they would be eligible for. Those "sessions" will start in February. |
| I think they invite you if you contact them. They would rather you go out and practice with their team vs seperate tryouts. Just send them an email if you are interested. |
| Has anyone heard back regarding attending a BRYC ECNL ID session? |
Yes, we heard back the same day, another kid from the same team also heard back same day. |
| ^^^^Thanks-which age group are you looking for? Are they having a session this weekend? |
BRYCs U15-19 teams have been on a short break, and start back up next week. |
Do they ever just ignore an email? I’ve emailed twice and haven’t heard back. Our player is looking to perhaps make a change from a current DA program. Pretty weird they haven’t responded. |
Bad sign of organizational issues. |
| My daughter emailed for u16 team and got a response within an hour... make sure you are sending to the right email that was used in social media post as some tryout emails may stillness going to Larry |
We got given a date and time to tryout... what age group did you apply for? |
