Yep just saw that one also, must have both days.


Are these sessions for this Spring only? If not, then why are there no sessions for the 2007s, who will be on VDA's youngest ECNL team next year?

There seems to be an issue with the registration page. When submitting it says there is an error and fix the answer but nothing seems to be wrong. I tried it on 2 computers.

Just GDA trying to turn itself into ECNL since more big clubs are dropping GDA again this year. Up next--allowing high school soccer....

I think they just invite interested players to contact the club to coordinate attending a practice. I know my daughter's team has had someone come out for a session already. I don't think they do ID sessions anymore.

What clubs are dropping DA next year?


I'm curious to hear this answer as well.

Also, where are you getting the info on DA allowing high school soccer? If they do, then would it apply to both boys' and girls' DA?

Assuming all of this is true about DA (and not a re-launch of last year's ECNL vs DA thread by a pro-ECNL parent), I'm surprised that DA would be losing out to ECNL on the girls' side. If DA continued to change its "make up" to basically become ECNL lite, then DA would seem to be admitting it is second fiddle to ECNL. Maybe this then becomes the new normal, or maybe it turns into a death spiral, as more girls' clubs leave DA for ECNL and as those remaining DA teams lose talent to ECNL teams.

I appreciate there are a lot of "ifs" that would have to occur before any of that takes place.
