People have different tastes in beauty but you may want to consider that you have a Western dominated idea of beauty.
A lot of the things mentioned in this thread (strong features, larger nose) are just part of being from a different race/ethnicity than the typical cover model.
This is incorrect. The large nose is frequently fixed by a nose job. That's not an American beauty judgment.
Lots of plastic surgery, i.e. nose jobs, is mostly an American thing. Other cultures live with what they've got.
It's so tiresome when people with very, very little exposure to other cultures declare that everything "bad" is American and "other cultures" are immune. It's just not true.
Plastic surgery is way, way, way less common in the US than in many places in asia and latin America. Please, understand that we are all human and America is not the root of all evil. You sound like a sheltered, university student communist.
