Here's a recent photo of Kim and all her children.

They're going to share the photos they legally have rights to and don't have to pay or attribute credit to outside sources. Their paps took the photo with her looking surprised.
Here's a more recent photo of her, actually it's her last public appearance with her family. Her son Quincy stars in the new Netflix movie The Holiday Calendar and she was at the premiere on October 30th. I've watched the movie and it's basically a black Hallmark movie with all the cheese and corny plot lines you can imagine. I loved it!

^^ Meant to add, Qunicy is the one to the left of Diddy, with the man bun. His father is R&B singer Al B. Sure.

I like this pic (with Al B Sure better). Shows the awesomeness of their blended families. She seemed like she had a great relationship with everyone.

Great picture and a sad loss for that whole family. I loved Al B Sure back in the day, and I think he discovered my absolute favorites - Jodeci or helped to start them off.

Official cause of death: lobar pneumonia. No drugs, as I suspected.

Sounds like she was really going through it. I wonder if she could have been hospitalized if she chose, to fight it?

Porter had been suffering from flu-like symptoms for days at the time of her death. The coroner’s report, obtained by The Blast, says that Porter’s bedroom contained bottles of water, sports drinks and Pedialyte on a nightstand, as well as a bowl of what appeared to be tomato soup.

Wtf? People die of the flu or unknown heart ailments all the time. She has never been known to be a drug user.

Since when does the flu cause cardiac arrest? Wealthy people don’t die from the flu or pneumonia, they go to the doctor or the hospital.

A lot of people do not know they have the flu/pneumonia; they just think it is a bad cold or something.

Also, in addition to underestimating how serious their illnesses are, the reason a lot of wealthy people who are famous fail to go to the ER or Urgent Care is that they are afraid of being seen by the paparazzi/someone who will alert the paparazzi causing all kinds of salacious rumors about them to appear in the tabloids, on gossip sites, etc (case in point: this thread) making it more difficult to get work as they will be seen as difficult to insure.

Don't they have personal doctors who will make house calls and arrange for treatments discreetly? This seems like such a tragic waste of life.

Concierge doctors cost a lot of money. JLo has one I'm sure. But Diddy's ex-gf that he didn't live with? No.

I know two healthy middle aged people who have died suddenly when they thought they had the flu. One was from pneumonia

One was a 47 year old marathon runner. Healthy as could be. Thought he had a bad virus. Started having trouble breathing on Saturday and went to the hospital. Died within 24 hours.

It is rare but it can happen.

Kim Porter received more than $20K/month in child support just from Diddy. She had the money if she needed a doctor.

A doctor and a concierge specialist are two different things. For a concierge practice in Hollywood/the Hamptons/New York set the retainer starts at $25,000 a year. That's just to be on their roster of patients.

Michael Jackson's concierge doctor? Billed him $300,000 for two months.

I didn’t say it was the flu, just saying people, yes wealthy and poor, spontaneously die every day. For you to assume it’s drug related is pathetic and sad. Says a lot about you.

Everyone always says it’s not drugs. Then it ends up being drugs. Just like Brittney Murphy and her mother swore she had the flu - and of course she had drugs in her tox report.
-NP

Brittany Murphy was a known drug user. I have not hear ONE story of Kim being a drug user. Not one.

NP - there were rumors for years she was into coke, but I think it's too early to assume drugs were the cause.

There were no illegal/recreational drugs in Brittany’s tax report, only legal (mostly nonprescription) drugs, most of which people would use to treat the symptoms of pneumonia if they didn’t go to the doctor/did’t know they were a potentially toxic combination.

Anonymous wrote:I hate to be a b**** but why do people always say "oh four children lost their mother, so sad." Yes, but she's a woman separate and apart from being a mother. It's sad whether she had children or not. I hate this notion that women only "matter" and their deaths are only "sad" if they're mothers. This is sad regardless. And yes, I have children. I am not anti-children, but this grates on my nerves.

OK, carry on arguing about whether she did drugs....

Sorry but if your friends lose you it is sad but when children lose a mom it is devastating to their whole world.

It is a bigger deal for a child to lose a mom and it is a bigger deal for parents to lose a child.

And childless adults are still someone’s child.

As long as we’re going to discuss Brittany Murphy, she is a perfect example of the above...the paparazzi/gossip sites/bs “blind items” (one in particular that was widely believed to be her but was revealed not to be someone else once everybody already believed it was her) were very much accomplices in her tragic early death.
