A lot of people do not know they have the flu/pneumonia; they just think it is a bad cold or something.

Also, [b]in addition to underestimating how serious their illnesses are, the reason a lot of wealthy people who are famous fail to  go to the ER or Urgent Care is that they are afraid of being seen by the paparazzi/someone who will alert the paparazzi causing all kinds of salacious rumors about them to appear in the tabloids, on gossip sites, etc (case in point: this thread) making it more difficult to get work as they will be seen as difficult to insure.[/b][/quote]

As long as we’re going to discuss Brittany Murphy, she is a perfect example of the above...the paparazzi/gossip sites/bs “blind items” (one in particular that was widely believed to be her but was revealed not to be someone else once everybody already believed it was her) were very much accomplices in her tragic early death.[/quote]
