Wtf? People die of the flu or unknown heart ailments all the time. She has never been known to be a drug user.

Since when does the flu cause cardiac arrest? Wealthy people don’t die from the flu or pneumonia, they go to the doctor or the hospital.

I didn’t say it was the flu, just saying people, yes wealthy and poor, spontaneously die every day. For you to assume it’s drug related is pathetic and sad. Says a lot about you.

Everyone always says it’s not drugs. Then it ends up being drugs. Just like Brittney Murphy and her mother swore she had the flu - and of course she had drugs in her tox report.

Brittany Murphy was a known drug user. I have not hear ONE story of Kim being a drug user. Not one.

Because you know everything about this woman? Did you live with her?

The point is: neither did you. So let’s not start trashing the woman unnecessarily, right? Innocent until proven guilty.

People who die from "common" viral infections usually have an underlying condition that makes them more vulnerable- asthma, immuno-compromised, heart arrhythmia, and the like.
Drugs, smoking, etc dont help either.

Ugh, I know TMZ had a decent photo gallery under the story, but I really dislike the main photo they used where she looks surprised/angry. They always do crap like that.

Here's a recent photo of Kim and all her children.

I hate to be a b**** but why do people always say "oh four children lost their mother, so sad." Yes, but she's a woman separate and apart from being a mother. It's sad whether she had children or not. I hate this notion that women only "matter" and their deaths are only "sad" if they're mothers. This is sad regardless. And yes, I have children. I am not anti-children, but this grates on my nerves.

OK, carry on arguing about whether she did drugs....

Not a nurse or a doctor, are you? Because I am, and I can tell you that you are very mistaken.

Sorry but if your friends lose you it is sad but when children lose a mom it is devastating to their whole world.

It is a bigger deal for a child to lose a mom and it is a bigger deal for parents to lose a child.

But the PP wasn't comparing scales of loss in the personal sphere. They are saying that a person matters whether or not s/he had children and that this woman's death is sad not only due to the fact that she leaves children behind but also because she is an artist the world will no longer have. In fact, it can be argued that she is known because of her art and we are discussing her because this and her relationship to Diddy not because she was a mother.

To put it another way - Steve Jobs was a father of four when he lost his battle to cancer. I'm sure his kids were sad but the outpouring of grief was because the world lost an innovative tech genius who couldn't be replaced.

They're going to share the photos they legally have rights to and don't have to pay or attribute credit to outside sources. Their paps took the photo with her looking surprised.

Serena freaking Williams almost died giving birth. They receive lower quality care from healthcare professionals and have compounded health issues from that happening their whole lives. It's awful.

This is spot on. Their maternal mortality rates are terrifying. If doctors won’t listen to Serena Williams, who will they listen to!?

Rip to Kim and love to her family.

Judge Hatchett’s healthy, beautiful DIL was murdered at Cedars-Sinai. Really is terrifying. They didn’t send her into CT scans until four hours after finding a problem.

Why exactly did Serena almost die giving birth?

She has developed a blood clot. She previously had a blood clot, so she knew the signs. She alerted nurses and doctors that something wasn't right and told them she had a blood clot and they ignored her until her situation became even more serious. She had an infection, as well.

She had blood clots in her lungs. They initially wrote her off as being confused/ not urgent but she kept insisting (she had a pulmonary embolism before and knew what this felt like) and eventually they did a CT scan and found the blood clots.
